55. The expectation on the part of local authorities undertaking study or research, or consultancy, to persons outside the administration can only be done under a program approved by the Board pursuant to Article 42, paragraph 2, letter b) of the consolidated text referred to Legislative Decree 18 August 2000, No 267.
56. With the regulation on the structure of offices and services issued pursuant to Article 89 of Legislative Decree 18 August 2000, No 267, shall, in accordance with the provisions of the regulations, limits, criteria and procedures for the award of collaboration assignments, study or research, or consultancy, to persons outside the administration. The same regulation establishes the maximum annual expenditure for the appointments and consultations. The award of consulting assignments or performed in violation of regulations issued to sensi del presente comma costituisce illecito disciplinare e determina responsabilità erariale.
57. Le disposizioni regolamentari di cui al comma 56 sono trasmesse, per estratto, alla sezione regionale di controllo della Corte dei conti entro trenta giorni dalla loro adozione.
